In early adulthood I worked for ET Promotions in northern Illinois, then later entered a business partnership as a promoter for motorcycle events and music festivals.
During a return trip to visit a friend in Batesville Indiana, I attended an ABATE rally where I met my husband. Mike and I worked in a motorcycle ministry for several years before moving to the Austin/Crothersville area.
Since then I have worked as a substitute teacher at local elementary and high schools, as well as an arts and crafts instructor at libraries and other public venues.
Mike works for The Nature Conservancy full time, and part time for Dept of the Interior fighting wildfires. I spend my time as homemaker and fieldtrip guide to my 3 youngest grandchildren. We sometimes foster children through the Dept of Child Services.
In my spare time I enjoy practicing with the Dance For Joy worship team at our church, gardening, painting, crafting, roadtrips, and camping.
