Welcome to the general Message Forum. Please press "Post Response" to talk about anything in general.  Other classmates will hopefully add comments.  There is a more specific forum called User Topic Forum.  There are a few topics available to discuss.  More topics can be added.  We hope to see some class chatter!

Oh my!!  Michael and I just sold our house, after 18 months of trying!  Closing is on Monday, July 23rd.  My last day of work (Retired??  Me??) will be September 28th.  Then the REAL adventure begins in New Mexico!!  Linda, we will be about 5 hours from you!!  Can't wait to get there.

Also can't wait to see people I'm sure I won't recognize at the reunion ;-)

Congratulations on the sell of your home with retirement on the horizon in New Mexico!  We've tried a few times to sell our home.  I know it's hard.  One realtor wanted us to move out and paint our front door red!  I'm sure you tried all kinds of things, but finally found what worked!

See you soon,

Hi Joyce,
So nice to hear from you and for all of your updates. You are surely the class coordinator. Thank you!
I won't be in Indy at all this summer, since my parents moved away it makes it hard to get there. My udpates: got the PhD Dec 2013 and have been working on establishing a Nurse Practitioner run private practice. I have 800 kids in my panel and I'm having a blast. My office is in an old building overlooking the Portland Airport and the Portland harbor. And, best part, its a Castle and my office isin a turret. Kids absolutely love it. I love living in Maine. This summer I'm planning on getting out LOTS in my sea kayak and my oldest son, Colin is getting married in September to a lovely girl who couldn't be more perfect for him. One son got away and moved to the 'other Portland' which is great since I have some old friends out there so seeing Rex means connecting with old friends. Otherwise we miss him tons. My daughter and her husband live not too far away so we get to see the grandkids lots. My husband's company is rocking this year, Malone Auto Racks, which he started 19 years ago. Now his water sports transport systems are all over the world. Pretty cool. After a HARD winter and also a slow warm up to spring we are so looking forward to summer though we are still needing fires in the woodstoves most nights, in JUNE!
thanks again for your updates. Please give my love to all of the classmates who are able to make the June 14th gathering. I'll look forward to facebook photos of the 'old' gang. We aren't really all 60 now, right? Wow, who knew it would go by so fast.

‚ÄčIf you have not seen them yet, be sure to go to Class of 71's page to look at their 45th reunion photos.  I recognized many who were there.  They sure looked like they were having a good time.  I am looking forward to our celebration next year.  Can't wait to see you all!
