I recall that Leon celebrated our 35th class reunion at Harrison State Park that Kenny Lewis (Sadly deceased 10/20/2017) organized.  The day was sunny and warm.  We played bean bag toss near a shelter and had grilled hamburgers.  Leon looked physically fit at the time, not ill whatsoever.  He had a youthful appearance.  He died between our 35th & 40th reunion.  We unfortunately don't have any specifics concerning his death.  If anyone knows, please inform us.   I noticed that his class photo is not in the junior or senior yearbook.  His photo does appear in our sophomore yearbook.  Leon was appreciated and forever missed.  We know he would have joined us if he able to.  Since I didn't know the year Leon died, 2010 is not for sure, but likely close.
