Classmate, Robert Barker wrote to advise of his good friend, Jamie's passing in 2024. Robert wrote: I don't live in Indianapolis myself, but Jamie did. Knew him since gym class sophomore year at Lawrence. Jamie, Louis Dezutti and myself all got to know one another. Some people thought Jamie was stuck up, because he was attractive. He wasn't a snob, He was shy. Far as I know his death was kind of sudden, and he didn't have long to suffer.
I recall lanky, youthful, Jamie from our high school years. I found him attractive, but, friendly and soft spoken. Sincere condolences to Jamie's wife, Vicki and their son, Spencer. I wish we could have known one-another better through our reunions over the past 50+ years. It's always heartwarming to see classmates again. While I'm grateful for knowing Jamie in high school, he'll aways be missed and remembered by his 70 years of contributions to friends, family and society.
