Louise Barnette Grdinic

58, of Lawrence, passed away Thursday November 1, 2012. She was born July 26, 1954 to Dean and Frieda Barnette in Indianapolis, IN.

Louise was an active member of St. Lawrence. She was an amazing woman who loved her family. She enjoyed arts and craft, gardening, bowling, cooking and playing with her three dogs, Lilly, Princess and Carley.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother; her husband of 39 years, Michael ; one daughter, Nicole (Arron) Grdinic Gilman; 8 siblings, Laura Strausburg, Larry Barnette, Les Barnette, Loretta (Daniel) Rockel, Lowell Barnette, Lisa Owen, Lynnelle (Thomas) Agnew, Louis Barnette; and she was anticipating the arrival of one grandchild.

Louise was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call from 5-8 pm on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday November 6, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan. Interment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Louise died on November 1, 2012, just shortly after many of us celebrated our 40th LC Class of 72 reunion.  It's sad that it seemed we didn't know to reach out to her as friends.  Her obituary expresses a delightful individual who will be missed by friends and family.
