Per David's obituary notice posted by classmate, Dennis Hammons, David sadly died June 28, 2024. David's obituary link can be located on Indiana Funeral Care website. David was born: June 18th, 1954 and died at 70 years of age. I encourage classmates who knew David to write In Memory comments. I believe I knew him as a likeable, friendly classmate who lived in a 2 story home across from where Craig Middle School was off of Sunnyside Rd. The house is still there, but I don't know if the home was his recently. The house has undergone many renovations since our high school days. It's fortunate that his obituary shares select details of his celebrated life with a wonderful, recent photo. David will be missed by many friends and family members.

Very sad to hear of David's passing. We knew each other very well as our families attended church together at Lawrence Baptist Church starting in 1960. Spent a few Sunday afternoons at his house and had a lot of fun running around oaklandon. Fond memories. His was a large family with 2 brothers and 4 sisters. My father-in-law worked with Dick In The Tool Room at Allison Transmission for close to 40 years and after I started working at Allison's I would stop by and say hi. I didn't know David very well in High School, I was more of an aquaintence. However, I do remember David & I'm happy to know that he lived a good & full life. It saddens me that someone who I had exchanged hello's and conversation with for a few years in high school has passed away from our world. May David Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
